Geared towards the beginning and intermediate dancer, this workshop offers a chance to further explore contemporary technique and performance skills through choreography. Each day will consist of phrase work and introduction of various choreographic tools; dancers will work closely with Norma in practicing and applying technique, contributing to a piece of choreography, and gathering skills to approach performing. While there will be the opportunity to experience the ‘finished product’ at the end of each day and culmination of the entire workshop, the aim is also to explore connecting the practice and performance within a limited amount of time.
If you are interested in diving further into practicing and applying technique, exploring your own creative voice, and experiencing the choreographic process, this is the perfect place to do so!
