Embodied Ballet is the somatic based approach to learning ballet that was developed by the late great master teacher, Augusta Moore. This unique online workshop will be taught by Marisa Castillo, who assisted Augusta in developing this specialized somatic syllabus. By the end of the workshop, students will understand how beautifully classical ballet lends itself to somatic inquiry. This workshop will also introduce experimental anatomy as a pathway to understanding fundamental ballet principles.

The workshop will explore concepts such as:
• Meeting our external and internal environments
• Rekindling our relationship with the floor
• Utilizing the side seams of the body
• Finding your 3 Dimensional Self
• Finding harmony in alignment
• Showing the hidden beauty of the leg
• Discovering your passionate foot
