ODC is dedicated to the lifecycle of the artistic process. Through our company, school and theater, we aim to inspire audiences, cultivate artists, engage community, and foster diversity and inclusion through dance.

Under founder and artistic director Brenda Way, ODC/Dance Company choreographers, Way, KT Nelson and Kimi Okada, produce new work that springs from the aesthetic and social values of contemporary life. Ten extraordinary dancers perform the work and participate in ODC's extensive local and national educational programs.

ODC Theater, led by Theater Director Julie Potter, supports innovative artists through commissioning, presenting, mentorship, and space access. Emerging artists and those at the top of their career find a home at ODC Theater.

ODC School offers training in a wide range of dance forms to all ages and abilities in an effort to nurture creative artists, appreciative audiences and a healthy generative community.

In addition to developing engaged and committed audiences, the organization advocates for the performing arts as an essential component to the economic and cultural development of our community.
